NOTE: ONLY SWEDISH AUDIO, NO ENGLISH SUBTITLES. Nice Swedish pseudo documentary about a Swedish expedition that in 1954 go out to catch a huge snake in South America.
The burdensome journey goes by truck, mules, horses and canoe through the Andean jungle. The expedition buys a young monkey in exchange for a knife, face sloths, electric eels and curious Indians.
Together with the Indians they chase wild boar and compete in blowpipe shooting. Blomberg plays a Beethoven concert on his gramophone before the amazed woodmen.
After a bunch of adventures the expedition hunters finds an anaconda, and try desperately to call the attention of others, but the snake slip away. Should the expedition fail with their mission?
