Ett dödligt virus "The Reaper" skördar hundratusentals liv i Storbritannien. Myndigheterna ser ingen annan utväg än att bygga en massiv hårdbevakad mur för att spärra in de smittade. Skottland avskärmas från resten av världen för evigt. De som försöker fly, mördas obönhörligen. Ingen kommer vare sig in eller ut. 25 år senare bryter epidemin oväntat ut igen. Detta måste betyda att det fortfarande finns liv bakom muren. Om det finns ett botemedel så finns det där. Myndigheterna utser en elittrupp som ska ta sig in bakom avspärrningarna för att finna ett botemedel - men ingen anar vad som väntar dem där bakom.
If you love Mad Max and futuristic dirty action movies I have to recommend Doomsday.
Either you love it, or hate it. I loved it. Action all the way, lousy actors and this lovely trashed futurevision where people don´t have anything anymore and they fight for, and about everything.
Only one thing confused me; why was Bob Hoskins in that movie? Last time I saw that guy was in Roger Rabbit and that was 20 years ago(!).
This is nothing for girlfriends, this is a typical guy movie.
