Följ med när det aldrig så klantiga uppfinnarparet från Get Smart, Bruce och Lloyd trasslar sig igenom sin egen komedi – i en både galen och högst bisarr historia som löper parallellt med Get Smart. Det snillrika radarparet har nu lämnat den trygga labb-tillvaron och gett sig ut i verkligheten, på jakt efter den fantastiska nya uppfinning som de blivit bestulna på – en osynlighetskappa. Men hur lätt är det att hitta en sådan, och dessutom göra det innan KAOS lägger vantarna på den? Och att lära sig på stubinen hur man blir en bra spion är inte det lättaste för våra inte alltför diskreta hjältar…
I played a lawyer on a mediocre situation comedy called “This Show Sucks.” Ok. That wasn’t really the name of the show. It was actually called “This Show Blows”. Ok. Ok. That wasn’t the name of the show either. But it should have been. Which was too bad. The series actually had some crazy talented people on it. Like the guy who played my “wacky boss”. He was hilarious in “Pretty Woman” and genius on the sit-com classic “Seinfeld”. But on our show he was forced to act in some really stupid scenes and say some really stupid lines. And now that unlucky bastard gets to do it all over again in “Get Smart’s Bruce and Lloyd Out of Control”.
But don’t worry. This totally lame “spin off” of “Get Smart” has a democratic heart – it lets everyone say stupid lines in stupid scenes! But even if the great Paddy Chayefsky* had written this movie I’m not sure it would have helped. The rest of the actors looked like they learned their “craft” by watching lame YouTube videos. Especially the guy who played “Bruce”. Or maybe it was the guy who played “Loyd”. Or maybe, just like this movie, it doesn’t really matter.
