We take these cars to the max and above with tests of acceleration side by side to speeds reaching up to and over 310 km/h (190 mph) (Ruf R Turbo 650). The grooved surface on the military airfield was perfect for these supersportscars which gave it the traction they needed. These races was done in hot weather at 30-35 degrees Celsius (86-95 Fahrenheit) from rolling start at 50 km/h (31,25 mph) and into the Autobahnzone! The last thirteen races on this DVD are from the 2nd Airfield Shootout in 2008 where we had the new BMW M3 V8 against all competitors -incl. arch-rival Audi RS4- in close to freezing temperature, only 5 degrees Celsius (40 Fahrenheit).
