Story
...from Carerra GT, McLaren Mercedes SL-R to Ruf RT12 and Ariel Atom 300. We take these cars to the max and above with tests of acceleration side by side to speeds reaching up to and over 310 km/h (190 mph) (Ruf R Turbo 650). The grooved surface on the military airfield was perfect for these supersportscars which gave it the traction they needed. These races was done in hot weather at 30-35 degrees Celsius (86-95 Fahrenheit) from rolling start at 50 km/h (31,25 mph) and into the Autobahnzone!
The last thirteen races on this DVD are from the 2nd Airfield Shootout in 2008 where we had the new BMW M3 V8 against all competitors -incl. arch-rival Audi RS4- in close to freezing temperature, only 5 degrees Celsius (40 Fahrenheit). In total over 70 races!
