They plunder, bathe in barrels with bare-naked ladies and fight gladiators in the Roman Empire, always in a cheerful mood. Kind of Asterix, Swedish style. The movie was shot in a ”Viking village” left behind after the shoot of the British movie The Long Ships (1963). The team also used ships, costumes and props from the British movie.
