Les Grandes Personnes Story
Albert har ensam tagit hand om sin dotter Jeanne sedan hennes barndom. För att fira hennes 18-årsdag tar han med henne på en sommarsemester till en skärgårdsö på den svenska västkusten. Men huset som han har hyrt för två veckor visar sig redan vara bebott av två främmande kvinnor: Christine och Annika. De är två väninnor i 40-årsåldern, den ena fransyska, den andra en svenska som bott i Paris under många år. Fadern och dottern tvingas dela huset med dem och detta oväntade möte kommer så småningom att rubba den trygga balansen mellan Albert och Jeanne.
