The Black Dahlia Story

Den unga, vackra Elizabeth Short kom till 1940-talets Hollywood förutbestämd att bli en stjärna. Men innan karriären tagit fart mördades hon brutalt och mördaren blev aldrig funnen. De två poliserna Bucky Bleichert och Lee Blanchard utreder mordet och upptäcker snart en härva av korruption och konspiration inom polisen. Dessutom visar det sig att den enes flickvän kände mordoffret. Efter James Ellroys roman, som i sin tur bygger på ett verkligt olöst mordfall.

Once upon a time in Hollywood, California - I was the only white actor on a black sit-com called "A Different World".
And the only thing more lame than my lame attempts at acting were my incredibly lame (and possibly racist) attempts at fitting in with the all black cast by talking about how I thought Halle Berry was smokin’ hot and rapping lines from "Niggaz 4 Life".
The more I tried to win my co-workers over, the further I pushed them away. What´s all this have to do with "Den Svarta Dahlian"?

This movie, directed by the dude who gave us "Scarface"(4 bits), has everything we crave in our motion picture entertainment: Murder.Mystery. Love. Sex. Nudity. Pornography. Lesbians. But this over the top monster just tries too damn hard to win us over. But at least it tries. That’s more than you can say for a lot of crap movies that expect u 2 b grateful that they even showed up.

So watch "Dahlia", then "L.A. Confidential"(8 stars) and then "Chinatown"(10 stars). Then fire off an email to guywhokickedbrucewillissass@gmail.com and thank me for taking you up the cinematic evolutionary ladder.
