A script I co-wrote was made into an actual movie. Too bad that movie totally sucked. Except for the scene I was in. Seriously. Ask my parents.

The same guy who produced that movie and won an Academy Award for producing a short movie called "Ryan" (an animated documentary about some fucked up drunk Canadian animator) and produced the god awful "Black Christmas" has now brought us "Young People Fucking". I know. I know. You, like me, probably already downloaded it thinking it was porn and then dumped it when you found out it was some low budget Canadian movie written and directed by some first timers starring a "who's who" of no name actors.

Big mistake.

These fucking nobody's have realized that they have nothing to lose and have made a highly original thus highly entertaining movie that makes "American Pie" look like "American Gothic". 5 different couples fucking in five different stories, this movie is indeed the real "Sex and the City" - it even has it's own Mr. Big. But in this movie it's not some whiney rich guy riding around in a limo wondering whether he should get married or not. It's a guy who's worried that his huge penis might be too much for his roommate's hot skinny girlfriend.

So do yourself a favor and watch "Young People Fucking" and then fire off an email to the producer of the film (steve@copperheart.ca) and thank him for daring to make something different. Then tell him he still owes me 30 grand - he'll know what I'm talking about.
