Introduction: Three ways to download

There are actually three ways for you as a user to download. It´s all upp to you! Ameibo´s service is built upon BitTorrent technology to make it possible for you to share movies and earn money. If you don´t know anything about BitTorrents, don´t worry. You actually don´t need to know anything if you don´t want to. Either way, you can always earn money!

Important notice: No matter which download choice you choose, a .torrent file will be downloaded if you like to share it with your BitTorrent client later on.

Alternative 1: Click & Download (Beginner)

When you download a movie and click the "Download" button the movie starts to download to your computer. During the download time you actually earn money if someone starts to download the same movie as you. The earnings (revenue) is different for each movie and is based upon how many GigaBytes you share.
When the movie is downloaded to your computer you can still earn money by sharing your movie. In order to do that, keep the window open. The second you close it you can´t share earn money on it.

Don´t have a clue about words like "Gigabytes", "sharing" etc? Don´t worry because you can buy and download movies from Ameibo anyway!
You can, of course, download movies and not earn any money. It´s just a nice feature that we offer you.

Using a BitTorrent client to download with gives you eternal revenue. (More about that below)

Alternative 2: BitTorrent download (Advanced users)

If you are familiar with BitTorrent technology you can download the BitToorent file. The sweet thing is that that you earn money by sharing your movie to other users buying it. Make sure your computer is cranked on and hooked into the net and you can earn and share.

Find the money!

In the product listing you can see how you make money if you hoover your mouse pointer over the blue "Information icon".
Lets say the revenue is $1. This means you get $1 for each copy of the movie you share.
If you´re the only one sharing a particular movie the whole revenue goes into your pockets. If there´s another user sharing as well you get 50% etc.

Just like a big time movie studio boss, it’s up to you to figure out how you can earn the most money with your movies.

Should you go mainstream and download a big time Hollywood blockbuster or should you go Indie and download a movie with a smaller target group? Should you buy the movie as soon as it’s released or should you wait and see what the market is up to?

Write review and tell your friends on FaceBook

This one is the easiest cash machine on Ameibo. Write a review of your favorite movie, post it on Ameibo and we´ll help you to post your review on FaceBook.

Now all of your friends will notice your awesome review and if they like what they see and visits Ameibo to buy it you get 50 EuroCent added to your account!

And that´s for every friend buying the movie you´ve recommended! Sweet!

Tell a friend - get the revenue! (Advanced users)

If you have downloaded the movie with your BitTorrent client or if you add your .torrent file to your BitTorrent client this can be a great cash machine!

Recommend your movies to your friends thru your "Account" pages. This means that your can recommend your friends about your downloads and if they download the movie you will get 100% of the revenue.

You don´t need to share with anyone, just sit back and hope you have good friends!
